Hospital Support
Continuous nurse doula support through labor, pushing, and delivery
On call support from 37 weeks
Support includes inductions and cesarean births
Spinning Babies® techniques integrated throughout labor for comfort and positioning
Calm informed presence assisting with: comfort measures, positioning to optimize labor progression, medical translation, informed decision-making, and advocacy for birth preferences
Partner/support person guidance and reassurance throughout
Postpartum
Hospital and In Home Support
Two hours of immediate postpartum support after delivery to optimize your recovery, support newborn care needs and assist with baby’s first feed
Welcome Home Baby Visit within 48 hours of hospital discharge to debrief your birth story, assess maternal physical and emotional recovery, and assist with newborn care needs, lactation and infant feeding (4 hours)
Eight postpartum doula visits lasting 4-8 hours each that include: assistance with newborn care (while you rest!), lactation support, postpartum recovery tips and tricks, and light household tasks.
